Coyacan Köln in Cologne

Went here in September and loved the food! A lot of really good choices, so it's extremely difficult to choose. Prices of the dishes and drinks are reasonable. So if you visit Köln and look for Mexican food, go here!

I have to say that I am really very pleasantly surprised! I was with two friends at coyacan and everything tasted really good to us. The service was friendly a point deduction because we had to wait more than 1 hour between starter and main course.

We were looking for a restaurant in Cologne from home and decided based on the pictures and reviews. We were not disappointed. Ambience exceptionally beautiful. Food and cocktails were delicious. Service was good too considering how busy it was. We would come again :)

The decor is totally modern, the staff extremely friendly and the drinks delicious. Won't be my last time To recommend!

The food is amazing!!!!! Fresh & delicious! The atmosphere/decoration very pleasant & I like that the owner seems to put effort in it. It shows respect for the client & effort to make a difference. And it does make a difference! For a quite affordable price range, u can have lunch/dinner with friends/colleauges/a date, this restaurant is appropriate for all the above occasions. The stuff is very kind & the service fast & with quality. You should definitely try this restaurant and u won't regret it!

Super tasty brunch buffet. Unfortunately the waiters are very overwhelmed and you wait a long time for drinks and bill. The poor waiters have to do the kitchen, serve, bring the guests to the tables, settle accounts. More staff would help.

A very tasty and beautiful place! Good portions for reasonable prices. The interior is worked out to the smallest detail, you can just sit and enjoy the place itself. The dishes are also very nicely presented. We were there on Sunday evening, it is better to book a table in advance. Overall, I recommend it before visiting.

Jack fruit taco is to die for! Peach sour is unbelievably delicious!

The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The lemonades and cocktails are recommended and the café was good too. Always happy ?

After we had to wait a while at the beginning and felt a bit alone, we were served very friendly. The drinks were very refreshing and plentiful and the food was very fresh and tasty. It was particularly praiseworthy that in the last minutes of the happy hours we were asked for new drinks despite the glasses still full and that the waiters took their time for stupid questions and were able to answer them right away.

The place is really nice and also the service, but the food takes to long to be serve. :(

Great store, been there several times in a row. Cocktails delicious. Waiter Berat is worth gold for the store. Super nice and above all attentive. We girls love to come back.

Spontaneously passed by, spontaneously more than enthusiastic! Flavor explosion, unusual, special, great service. Here you eat and drink things that you don't know and get excellent advice from the nice team. We will be back! <3

Was recently in Cologne and discovered this cute shop. I was already enthusiastic about the ambience. There are many great ideas in the shop. I was kindly brought to my seat without a reservation, which was also disinfected and clean. The food is delicious and the drinks are highly recommended. Operation top. At our table there was also an open-minded, long-haired, blonde, tattooed waitress who told us a little bit about the creation of the coyacan and she had everything at a glance. Somebody you want everywhere in gastronomy. Please keep it up Price performance also goes well together. My companion and I would definitely like to come back

I can’t judge on the « authenticity » of the food but to my taste, it was all delicious! The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and I had very good experience the few times I went there with the team. The waiters were always very friendly, the cocktails are tasty and originals and the place itself is just beautiful (indoor and big comfy outdoor). Recommended!

For a city trip we were in beautiful Cologne and on the day of departure came across this well-located and externally very appealing restaurant and we were not disappointed. The ambience, the food, the drinks and the service were great. The staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous and no, this review is not embellished or bought, it corresponds to the truth - gladly again :)

Fun and buzzy place with good Mexican fare. The interior is modern and up to date and there is a nice large terrace in front of restaurant. Good vegetarian options. Our waitress was exceptionally upbeat and friendly as well as attentive. Overall a very good experience.

I'm sure the owner is really cool. The menu is awesome. Service is worst. Incompetent and lazy servers. Ignored us while they cleaned tables and chatted with their friends Forgot our drinks and couldn't find time to take our money when we needed to leave. Please find better servers.

the place is nice, drinks are amazing, staff very friendly and helpful, food quality is good but the flavors are kind of bleak. i guess if you arent really spices person, and not into punchy flavors you will enjoy the food as the ingredients are fresh and the overall quality is good. but i took one star away because i know mexican food to be punchy and full of flavor.

Chic ambient, nice music, delicious food and very attentive and lightning fast staff. I even had a coffee gin fizz and it was delicious. To put it into perspective, I never drink coffee and hate it, so it was a very pleasant surprise that I liked it. In my mind, any place that can make me like the things I usually hate is a really good place to go to.

Beautiful place, cozy, perfect music. The best place to spend an evening with friends, or for a nice date. Professional staff, the waiter Berard the best! If you are in cologne, come here :)

Been there several times now and it is one of my top 3 restaurants in Cologne. Delicious, healthy food, great atmosphere and decor, waiters professional and personable. It raises the bar for all Mexican restaurants.

Busy at weekend, they offer plenty of seats outside , with a summer season you can enjoy cocktail or just Kösch here. Staffs are friendly! Acceptable price

Ambience is good but not the food.

Nice place... decoration amazing but food not so good. I got shrimp tacos and the tortilla was really really bad... looks and tasted like it was in the fridge for years... and it was served cold :(

Very nice atmosphere, friendly stuff and delicious meals in Mexican style! Plenty of choice, including vegan dishes and also many Cocktails. I can really recommend!

This place atmosphere is nice, but if you wanna come here for brunch it is NOT worth. The buffet was not well thought: they place it in a very narrow alley, so you need to queue to get anything. The pastries and bread were not fresh, the guy from the egg station does NOT know how to make eggs and the coffee was like a dark tea. All my experience is based on a Sunday brunch, but do not wanna come back here

Cozy, great cocktails, and appetizers

3.5 stars. Everything is amazing except the food.

Staff is friendly, service is slow, kitchen even slower... Food was mixed. Burrito was good... Paid 60€ for 3 Persons. Pricey for what you get.

Quite cheap lunch menu for 9.9 euro. Serving is not large but still an adequate meal. A lot of random sauces in the burritos, I dont like the taste.

Drinks and service is really good, the ambiance is very nice but the food is nothing special.

Went here a few times now within the last year. Experiences were mixed. The drinks and atmosphere are great, but the food wasn't good every time we've been here. I'd recommend this place for drinks and maybe a snack, but I wouldn't go here to enjoy a good meal.
